It focuses everything- I mean, it doesn't turn down the noise in my head. But concentrates it, I don't- [ Wow, buddy. You are doing a shit job of explaining this, but he's only held it twice now and he doesn't have the best frame of reference here. ]

It's like I spend every waking minute trying not to fly off the handle and the second I took hold of that thing, there wasn't anything but the pure violence of it. I could've done anything, anything at all and it would've been right.

So it let you turn off and on your violence as you chose rather than it just coming out whenever, and you didn't suffer any ill effects for it afterward? Like when you all got drunk but without the hangover?

Drunk on it? Definitely. But I'm, uh- not sure there was an off switch. Not until I let go of it, at least. And I didn't want there to be.

That doesn't seem that difficult. I could make something that would serve the same purpose.

I'll need payment, of course, you understand. [Rage smiles, pleasant and friendly.] I need to use my energy to create it, so I'd need that renewed.

Not particularly, no.

[She gives a smile that might be apologetic on anyone else, and a little shrug to go with it.]

But, I can tell you that I am patient. My offers are very open ended that way. If you can refuse, you're obviously doing just fine without it. If that changes, you know what to do.
