All right. It sounds like you know how this works. What are you interested in getting?

Yes, I've done this before. Sadly the first bargain was short-lived, considering I made it with Delight.

I want the power to be able to stop someone. Not kill them, but stop them enough that they cannot hurt anyone.

That'll certainly make your target angry. I'll still need power to do it, though.

I suppose payment will depend on the who and how. There are a few options that don't involve death. Stripping someone of their power, putting them in stasis -- as opposed to a coma, which involved and feeds all of us.

But that's not your goal. So, what were you thinking? And for whom?

My target is Caedra, the demon in the guise of a woman.

As to the rest, that is where I seek your input. Alone, I don't have the power to stop her. In a direct battle it's unlikely I would win. And I can inflict stasis only temporarily; my ice magic can freeze a foe for but a few minutes at most.

If you can offer me anything that will help, we can discuss payment.

Fight a monster by yourself. Make sure you deal the killing blow with a weapon, even if you have to freeze it to do it first. Bring me one of its bones - cleaned, of course. You can leave it on the altar in my temple. Come back in an hour and you'll find a ring made of the monster's bone.

You'll have to get it on her somehow; your magic should be enough.

It'll keep her in stasis for at least 30 days. Does that seem long enough?

It's better than nothing, so I accept. Is that offering all you'll require as payment?

If you want it to be for longer, I'll need more power in advance. As it is, it should be several days longer than 30.

If the price means inflicting rage on others besides the demon, I would prefer to avoid that.

If the monsters arrive with the regularity they tend to every month, you'll have your offering soon enough. I ask for your patience until then.
